Bridal Showers traditionally involve giving gifts to future wives and grooms.
A bridal shower is a gift giving party given for a bride before her wedding. The custom originated in the USA, although the first stories about these events have been known to originate in Brussels, Belgium around 1860. It remains a primarily U.S. and Canadian practice. Showers are usually coordinated by the bridesmaids, who invite guests to offer gifts for the home of the bride and groom.

We have chosen our gifts in 3 different shops: Tesco, Habitat and Argos. Argos was the only one that offer a "Gift List Service", what means:
- Friends can view your list online or obtain a copy in any Argos store - they just need to quote your reference number (444087)
- Gifts can be bought online, over the phone or in one of over 680 stores - whichever is most convenient for our friends.
- Your list is automatically updated as soon as a gift is bought - which minimises the chances of receiving duplicate gifts!
- We are happy to receive Argos gift cards. Please note these can only be purchased in store. Remember to quote the gift list reference number (444087) when buying.
Anyway, to minimise the chance of receiving duplicate gifts from Tesco and/or Habitat as well, we gently ask our friends to leave a anonymous message here to enable other guests to know that a certain gift has already been bought. Tesco and Habitat gift list are still available in the post below.
We still ask that you confirm your attendance. This confirmation helps ensure accurate counts for supplies for the Kitchen Shower. Feel free to BYOB.
